Certified Organic. 100% Chardonnay. Marc was looking for other high altitude vineyards in the Cote d'Or to produce wines with fresher acidity that would mirror the aspects he knew at Domaine de la Cras. Through his partners at Tercet, he was able to get in touch with an organic grower in the hills far above Aloxe-Corton in the Hautes-Cotes village of Echevronne. Tercet requested that the grower press the grapes onsite, in a separate tank with no SO2, and then brought the juice to Domaine de la Cras for fermentation and elevage. Clay Limestone with southern exposition. 10% new wood with 1 year elevage. Unfined w/ light filtration. 250 cases produced.
