Bodegas La Purisima

Bodegas La Purisima is a cooperative with the reputation of an international wine producer, since our wines are enjoyed in over 30 countries. They are a young, modern, up-to-date wine producer, led by a woman, María Teresa Ruiz González.

Bodegas La Purísima currently has 3325 Ha of vines, representing around 60% of the Yecla Denomination of Origin area. They have almost 100 Ha of ungrafted Monastrell vines, authentic vines which have grown on our land without being planted, bearing witness to the vines of our predecessors and providing us with authentic wines impregnated with the essence of our land.

Yecla Iglesia Vieja Crianza

Varietal: Monastrell, Syrah, Garnacha

Color: Red

Farming Practice: Organic

Organic. 75% Monastrell and 18% Syrah & 7% Garnacha. Sourced from a vineyard located on the Murcia Plateau, at an altitude of between 500-900 meters. The soils originated mainly from sediments of the Pliocene period (2000 million years ago). Hand-harvested and macerated 10 days before fermentation. Aged 12 months in oak barrels. It has a complex nose, first revealing sweet aromas of dried fruits such as figs, prunes and quince, along with vanilla, and then, as the wine opens out, giving way to more balsamic and even acrid aromas.

Yecla Monastrell Old Hands Roble

Varietal: Monastrell

Color: Red

Farming Practice: Organic

Organic. 100% old vine Monastrell. Sourced from a vineyard located on the Murcia Plateau, at an altitude of between 500-900 meters. The vines are 30-year-old. The soils originated mainly from sediments of the Pliocene period (2000 million years ago). Cold maceration to enhance its aroma, which results in elegant aromas and taste of fresh red berries and herbs. Aging 4 months in barrel.
